Not much free time ahead this weekend so I decided to revive my blog!! Strange spacing so I will need to consult my IT friends for assistance. The Cecile Brunner rosebuds are gracing my garden- their spicy scent evokes such a strong memory of my mother Marjorie. I make sure I grow one in each garden I create. My parents fostered my love for gardening and reading, and this morning I am so grateful.
Just another WordPress.com site
- this is one of my favourite gardens. The others are the Botanical gardens in Pmburg and my cousin Jayne’s garden in Wilderness.
- I aim to keep you updated on my charmed life in the Franschhoek valley, my vegetable growing ventures and other garden delights; delicious food and exciting adventures.
- Do you use it, need it, love it? This is my motto for the rest of the month and beyond as I attempt to de-clutter my life. Just one glance into Spare Oom reminds me of the very real need to do so. I can always escape into the garden. Writing a blog is compelling! I should be getting ready for work. Here is a picture of one of my favourite gardens – the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens in Betty’s Bay.
